CHICAGO - For the past 104 years, members of Pi Kappa Phi have been coming together to celebrate the beginning. On the College of Charleston campus, our three founders - Simon Fogerty Jr., L. Harry Mixon, and Andrew Alexander Kroegg Jr. - founded the 'non-fraternity.'
Today, Pi Kappa Phi's Upsilon Chapter strives to uphold the same ideals with their mission statement 'fraternity redefined,' and our hundred of alumni know what it means to be a Pi Kapp.
In celebration of Founder's Day, the Upsilon Alumni Chapter is hosting an event on Dec. 13 at Harry Caray's Tavern in Wrigleyville. The event coincides with the Chicago Bears game against the Green Bay Packers.
For $25, alumni and guests will have access to all-you-can-eat food during the game, including a reserved area on the second floor. Additionally, they will help fund future Alumni Chapter initiatives. During halftime, AC Vice-President Adam Nekola will update members on the events and programs currently in the works.
With more than 1100 brothers having initiated into the Upsilon Chapter and over 100,000 nationally, there has never been a better time to be a Pi Kapp. Come join us to catch up with friends, meet new brother, and hear about the good things happening with Upsilon.
